About MATSU

Furniture for the way Europe and the Middle East work, host and live.

Who we are

MATSU Europe & Middle East

We bring timeless, high-quality furniture to workplaces, hospitality venues and homes across Europe and the Middle East.

Since 1996, MATSU has developed complete workspace solutions and pioneering office concepts for companies around the world. In 2024 the group founded MATSU Europe & Middle East as a joint venture in Germany – the next stage of its international growth. From our headquarters in Gomaringen, Germany, and our office in Expo City Dubai, we support architects, interior designers, dealers and private clients – from the first sketch to installation.

Design approach

Timeless design, honest materials

Our furniture blends functionality with modern aesthetics and is made to last. We work with renowned international designers and hold every piece to the highest standards of craftsmanship, material selection and production quality – with custom solutions tailored to the space whenever a project needs them.

“We create furniture that is not only beautiful but also tells stories and embodies lived values.”

Materials & responsibility

Fairly sourced, made to last

For the Nomadic Collection we use only the finest, fairly sourced materials: premium yak leather from the small family-run company Lhayak, and fabrics hand-woven on the Tibetan plateau by artisans who preserve ancient techniques. We buy these materials at fair prices – typically five times what farmers would receive on the open market – directly supporting local communities. For upholstery we also rely on European textiles from Kvadrat and Gabriel and on Sunbrella performance fabrics.
