Singlax rethinks lounge seating for the working world. Its modules can be combined freely – for internal communication as well as for meetings with guests. More than a simple combination of sofas, Singlax responds to changing ways of working and makes room for a relaxed moment in the working day.
One family, eleven models. Singlax is not a single sofa but a system: four sofas, four seats, an ottoman, a C-table, a seat tray and a coffee table with power. Every model shares the same polished metal frame, so pieces of different sizes combine into one continuous landscape. Choose the model in the list above – the dimensions of each one are listed here.

Singlax Family · EXH
Sofas. M-SL-1610A and M-SL-1610C carry five cushion modules, M-SL-1610B and M-SL-1610D carry six. All four measure W 1610 × D 1010 × H 630 mm with a seat height of 430 mm.
Seats. M-SL-1010 measures W 1010 × D 1010 × H 630 mm with three modules, M-SL-1006 W 1010 × D 610 × H 630 mm with two modules, and M-SL-1004 is the tall single seat at W 1010 × D 410 × H 1030 mm. The round ottoman M-SL-0404 measures Ø 400 mm with a seat height of 430 mm and sits on a white lacquered base.
Companions. M-SL-TJ is the C-table at W 350 × D 350 × H 510 mm, M-SL-TP the seat tray at W 410 × D 400 × H 50 mm, and M-SL-CJG the coffee table with integrated power at W 400 × D 600 × H 600 mm.
Frame and upholstery. A polished metal frame holds the cushion modules in place, keeps every combination stable and prevents the modules from shifting when users change position. Upholstery comes in Kvadrat Melange Nap, Cava 3, Revive and Remix 2, or in the MATSU standard fabrics HY2071 and Hafeele LE8200.

Designer
The Singlax family is designed by EXH Design, an architecture practice founded in 2006 by Zhang Xi and Erich Diserens, with an office in Zurich. Its work combines technical refinement with a sensitivity for place, across urban planning, architecture and interior design.

Care
Care
Every MATSU piece is made from carefully selected materials. With a little regular care it will keep its character for many years. If you have any questions, our team is happy to advise.
Yak leather
Dust weekly with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a cloth lightly moistened with mild soapy water, wipe in circular motions and dry immediately. Avoid harsh cleaning agents and direct sunlight. Condition every three to six months with a suitable leather balm.
Powder-coated metal
Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth and mild soapy water, then rinse with clear water and dry. Do not use abrasive pads or acidic cleaners.
Wood
Dust weekly with a soft, lint-free cloth; clean with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then dry immediately. Treat occasionally with beeswax or furniture oil, working with the grain. Protect from direct heat, strong sunlight and large changes in humidity, and wipe up spills straight away.
Veneer
Dust with a soft brush or cloth and clean only with a barely damp cloth, drying immediately. Avoid excess water, steam and alcohol-based cleaners; use coasters and felt pads.
Melamine-faced chipboard (MFC)
Clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive and ammonia-based cleaners.
Sunbrella fabrics
Brush off loose dirt regularly. Clean with mild soap and water at low pressure and leave to air-dry in the shade. Dab stains — do not rub — and rinse thoroughly.
Kvadrat and Gabriel fabrics
Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment. Treat stains by dabbing with a mild soap or upholstery-shampoo solution, working from the outside in, then blot dry and leave to air-dry. Test any cleaner on a hidden area first; avoid steam cleaning, soaking and harsh chemicals. For heavily used pieces, we recommend an annual professional clean.
